Sports fanatics can catch a glimpse of the Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame, while others may enjoy retail therapy in Yorkville, the most upscale shopping area in the city. Visit the Bata Shoe Museum, head to the 161-hectare High Park or drop by one of the small islands on Lake Ontario. Day 3: Niagara Falls

Today, leave behind the Toronto bustle and delve into one of the world’s most famous and impressive waterfalls on a private sightseeing tour to Niagara Falls. Drawn by the force of the current and the hypnotic mist, delight in the majestic natural wonder with camera in hand. After ample time to explore, set sail for a voyage to the falls on a Hornblower Niagara Cruise and take home the ultimate souvenir: memories. On tiered viewing decks that provide a 360-degree view of Niagara Falls, be led through the rushing waterfall and impressive rock formations and explore the roar. Be prepared to get wet! (Order of activities during the Niagara Falls tour is subject to change).

Afterwards, savour a lunch overlooking the falls before a scenic drive on the Niagara Parkway, with picture stops at Table Rock, Whirlpool Rapids, Hydro-electric dams, Floral Clock and Queenstown Heights. You will then enjoy time at leisure in the village of Niagara-on-the-Lake, a Victorian-era, 19th-century town bursting with pristine countryside and charm.

Upon your return to Toronto, why not take advantage of its award-winning entertainment district with a night at the theatre or at one of the city’s best restaurants?

Sit back and relax as the ever-changing scenes glide past your window to reveal an entirely new and equally exciting sight — most of which cannot be viewed by any other form of transport

The pleasure of the experience is sure to be as memorable as the city you’re arriving into, but for now, enjoy your Business Class benefits, such as at-seat dining with a glass of Canadian wine.

On arrival, you will check into the recently revitalised Fairmont Château Laurier, located in the centre of downtown Ottawa, before an evening at leisure in the bilingual capital.

Today, you will discover the city through the eyes of an Ottawan on a personalised walking tour accompanied by a local guide. Be shown around the city like a friend, and learn of its colourful history, political characters and style with stops at Parliament Hill, the National War Memorial, Sparks Street, the Rideau Canal and Major’s Hill Park. If you are lucky, you may even spot the Prime Minister, either on Sussex Drive or at the office!

Following this, enjoy an intimate gourmet food tour of ByWard Market — the ideal introduction to the region’s vibrant food scene. Explore the back alleys, narrow corridors and storefronts, before tasting the best the market has to offer, all while your local guide shares stories of the market’s past. You will also stop several times to sample specially curated cuisine and local alcoholic drinks.

Accommodation: Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Train: VIA Rail Train (Business Class), planned morning departure.

This afternoon, take to the streets independently before re-joining your new friends for a farewell dinner and a gastronomic experience through the discovery of Quebec cuisine, blending the very best of its heritage features with the latest design trends.
